Sage Browned Buttered Butternut Squash Noodles

Recipe Ingredients:

1 package Nora & Ashley Butternut Squash Noodles

1 stick unsalted butter

1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage




In small saucepan on medium heat, add butter and melt. Stir occasionally to guarantee butter is cooking evenly. Watch as butter will change in color quickly from lemon yellow to golden tan to toasty brown. It will have a nutty aroma when cooked - this will happen quickly so don’t leave the stove or you will end up with burned butter!

Remove from heat and place browned butter in heat proof bowl. Prepare Nora & Ashley Butternut Squash Noodles according to package directions. Toss noodles with some of the browned butter and the sage. Serve warm.

Store remaining browned butter in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Tip: This will be delicious on other vegetables or served on fish.
